The XFL (Xtreme Football League) suspended all operations last Friday and according to ESPN, laid off nearly all of their staff. This follows the XFL cancelling their season a month ago as part of the nationwide sports shutdown due to the coronavirus epidemic. Three players from the XFL have been signed to NFL teams including: P.J. Walker with the Carolina Panthers, Jordan Ta’amu with the Kansas City Chiefs, Deatrick Nichols with the New Orleans Saints and Dravon Askew-Henry with the New York Giants. The XFL was created by WWE CEO/President Vince McMahon and Alpha Entertainment.
