The Washington Football team suffered more than a 34-20 loss to the Cleveland Browns, they also lost key defensive players.
According to ESPN, defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis suffered torn biceps and will miss the rest of the season.
Ioannidis was primarily a backup but played key minutes along Washington’s awesome defensive line.
The former Temple Owl left the second quarter with the injury and would not return.
The 26-year-old was coming off a season where he had a career high 8.5 sacks so we at Chris’s Corner wish him a speedy recovery.
As for Chase Young, he exited the Browns game with an apparent groin injury with a timetable that’s up in the air as well.
Young, the No. 2 overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, had already 2.5 sacks through three games.
