The first domino in college football has fallen as Virginia Tech’s Caleb Farley opted out of the 2020 college football season becoming the first player to do so in FBS.
According to ESPN, Farley’s mother died of cancer in 2018 and amid the coronavirus concerns Farley wants to go about the rest of the year in the safest aspects possible.
Farley is a projected NFL first round pick having a stellar junior year nabbing four interceptions, an ACC conference-high 16 passes defended earning an all All-ACC First-Team selection.
