Following the path of the Clemson Tigers, the Virginia Cavaliers announced they will be making campus changes too but this time to their school logo.

According to ESPN, the new racists logos released in April 24th had “negative connotations (slavery) attached with them,” according to Cavs athletic director, Carla Williams.

The new logo was a V-Sabre Logo and Cavalier Shield logo that featured curves on the two sabres that “mimic the design of the serpentine walls found on campus.”

UVA is beginning its process to replace those logos with new versions that return to the straight-line handles, according to the school.

Just a short week ago, Clemson renamed some of their Confederate named campus buildings/facilities and the University of Texas’ students/football players have petitioned for the same changes to be implemented on their campus as well.
