Veteran Back Frank Gore signing with New York Jets

Veteran running back Frank Gore is signing with the New York Jets on a one-year deal. The 36-year-old is the NFL’s third-leading rusher in NFL history with 15,347 career yards.

Gore suffered career lows in rushing (599) & yards-in-carry (3.6) last season with the Buffalo Bills but has given no indication he wants to retire according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.

The third round Miami Hurricane was drafted by San Francisco in 2005 spending nine seasons with the 49ers, two seasons with the Colts and one with the Dolphins and most recently, Bills.

The signing reunites Gore with former Dolphins-now-Jets head coach Adam Gase. He is a five-time Pro-Bowler and rushed for over 1,000 yards nine times in his career, according to ESPN.
