UFC star Conor McGregor announced Sunday that he is retiring again.
The 31-year-old drafted a retirement letter two weeks ago stating he was “just tired,” of the sport and reiterated that sentiment moments after the conclusion of UFC 250 in Vegas.
According to ESPN, this isn’t the first time the star fighter walked away from the sport. In March of 2016, McGregor walked away from the sport as to not travel to the United States and fight Nate Diaz.
McGregor would later return that summer to defeat Diaz in August.
He then retired in April 2019 in the midst of negotiations with UFC but then later returned to action in January defeating Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds.
