Trailblazers superstar Damian Lillard a go for game three despite suffering a dislocated finger

Chris's Corner

The Portland Trailblazers took a blow as superstar point guard Damian Lillard suffered a dislocated left index finger as the Blazers suffered a 111-88 drubbing at the hands of the Lakers Thursday.

According to ESPN, head coach Terry Stotts did confirm that despite this, Lilard will play game three Saturday against Lebron’s Lakers which Dolla Dame echoed vehemently he would be playing too.

Lillard is everything for the Trailblazers averaging 26-points-per-contest in the quarterfinals versus Los Angeles and averaged 40+ in the bubble earning him MVP status since the NBA’s return.

For Portland’s playoff aspiration sake, they need Lillard and CJ McCollum (broken vertebrae in his back) to get healthy fast if they hope to dethrone the No. 1-seeded Lakers.

As for Zach Collins, the young budding forward’s season is over as he will undergo ankle surgery for an ailing injury.

Previous, Collins missed the entire regular season ailing a torn labrum in his shoulder now he will have to overcome this injury too.
