Tough news for the Titans as star left tackle Taylor Lewan will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL suffered Sunday.
According to ESPN, The 29-year-old suffered the injury in the third quarter of an eventual 42-36 thriller over Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans.
The seventh-year Pro played 226 offensive snaps for the Titans this season averaging nearly 4-yards-a-carry when rushing to his side.
Lewan has been nothing short of a stud for the Titans earning three All-Pro nods in his seven seasons coming out of Michigan in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Veteran offensive tackle Ty Sambrailo will be called upon moving forward for Mike Vrabel’s squad as they welcome Big Ben and the undefeated Steelers to Nashville this coming week.
