Tennessee Titans rookie Isaiah Wilson has had a rough start to his NFL career and he hasn’t even played a game.
According to ESPN, the former Georgia Bulldog was arrested Friday night for a DUI, the Davidson County Sheriff's Office confirmed.
According to court documents, Wilson was arrested at 11:29 p.m. while traveling on Charlotte Avenue in Nashville at a high rate of speed.
In a car later identified as Wilson’s was spotted doing donuts between Charlotte Avenue and 25th Avenue N. Wilson lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete wall.
Once being pulled over, the arresting officer smelled alcohol from Wilson’s breath and watery eyes. He then revealed he had consumed two margaritas before driving his vehicle.
He then agreed to a breathalyzer test which resulted in a blood alcohol level of .107. The legal limit in the state of Tennessee is .08.
This is already the second negative incident Wilson has been involved in with the first being attending an off-campus party at Tennessee State University where he received a trespassing warning and later was revealed he had tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Titans selected Wilson with the 29th pick in this year’s draft to solidify Tennessee’s right side of their offensive line, now that may be in jeopardy.
