Tampa Bay Bucs, Veteran Antonion Brown agree to a one-year deal

Chris's Corner

The Tampa Bay Bucs landed the biggest fish in the free agent market inking receiver Antonio Brown to a one-year deal Friday.

According to ESPN, the 32-year-old Brown will likely make his Bucs debut in Week Nine against the New Orleans Saints.

The 10th-year receiver primarily chose Tampa to reunite with future Hall-of-Famer and current G.O.A.T quarterback Tom Brady.

The move makes sense on the Bucs end as their skills position players have been decimated with injuries having Mike Evans play on a broken ankle all year, Chris Godwin being in-and-out of the lineup and Scotty Miller being limited by several nagging injuries.

While Brown is certainly a headcase when on the field he is one of the best in the league hauling in 11,263 yards and 75 total touchdowns in 10 seasons as Pro with the Pittsburgh Steelers, LA Raiders and New England Patriots.
