The rich keep getting richer as Leonard Fournette has agreed to a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Bucs.
According to ESPN, the deal is worth a max value of $3.5 million with incentives and now Tampa Bay’s projected offense looks unbelievably scary ahead of the 2020 season.
The Bucs most notably signed future Hall-of-Famer and the G.O.A.T Tom Brady this off-season to a team that has a top wide receiver duo in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin along with tight ends Rob Gronkowski, O.J. Howard, Cameron Brate and a running back stable that includes super-bowl winning back LeSean McCoy, Ronald Jones and draft pick KeShawn Vaughn.
Tampa Bay should be a projected top five, maybe even three offense with a player that has rushed for 1,000+ yards twice in his short three-year career and is coming off a career-year hauling 76 receptions giving Brady a reliable three-down, north and south runner.
The move certainly doesn’t put Tampa Bay over the top but they are as legitimate an NFC contender as the Saints, 49ers, Packers and more.
