The Southeastern Conference announced its’ football athletes can return to their college campuses for voluntary workouts starting June 8th.
Friday, SEC presidents voted for this return and became the first of the 10 conferences to lift its own ban on on-campus activities after the NCAA’s ban will soon expire (May 31st), according to Sports-Illustrated.
Realistically many power-five conferences could (following the comprehensive safety plans/procedures/regulations they would need to adhere to) safely return its athletes to their campuses in attempts to return/rescue college football this fall.
