The Seattle Seahawks are getting some much-needed pass-rushing abilities trading veteran rusher Carlos Dunlap Wednesday.
According to ESPN, the Hawks are sending offensive lineman B.J. Finney and a seventh-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft for the proven pass rusher.
The 32-year-old Dunlap has had his shares of attitude issues but can do the one thing Seattle needs most defensively and that’s rush the passer.
Through 11 NFL seasons, the former Florida Gator has totaled 82.5 sacks racing the Pro Bowl in 2015 and 2016 while starting every regular season game.
Ken Norton’s Jr. unit has just 9 sacks as a team so the veteran Dunlap will look to invigorate his pass-rushing abilities to the field and hopefully instill some wisdom on the youngins to improve their abilities too.
