The Seattle Seahawks will be without a veteran presence on the defensive line as edge rusher Bruce Irvin will miss the remainder of the 2020 season with a torn ACL.
According to ESPN, the 32-year-old was injured with just four minutes left in an eventual 35-30 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football and did not return.
The former West Virginia Mountaineer has 52 sacks in nine seasons while playing for the Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks.
The veteran signed a one-year contract up to $5.5 million with the Hawks this past off-season.
