Jamal Adams got his wish as the New York Jets pulled off a blockbuster trade Saturday sending the Superstar safety to the Seattle Seahawks.
According to ESPN, the Seahawks will send safety Bradley McDougald along with first-round picks in 2021 and 2022 and a third-round pick in 2021 in exchange for Adams and a Jet fourth-round pick in 2022 pending all physicals.
Adams, well vocally, requested a trade from the Jets a month ago but New York originally had no intention of trading until current general manager Joe Douglas received an “offer he could not refuse.”
Seattle paid a big price but they believe it is completely worth it as Adams is a beast recording the most sacks (11), hits (11), hurries (27) and pressures (49), among defensive backs since being drafted sixth overall out of LSU in the 2017 NFL draft.
The two-time Pro-Bowler is also a tackling machine recording 273 total tackles in just three seasons making Adams one of the best at his position and a huge upgrade to the Hawks defense for the coming 2020-21 season.
