The Seattle Seahawks made news in bizarre fashion as they waived cornerback Kemah Siverand earlier after he was caught on video trying to sneak a woman into the team’s hotel Friday.
According to the NFL Network, the woman was disguised as a player in Seahawks gear to try to meet Kemah and “conduct physical business.”
Seahawks coach Peter Carroll cited his No. 1 rule is to always and consistently “protect the team,” and was proud of his team leaders for stressing the importance of being disciplined amid the coronavirus epidemic.
Siverand went undrafted out of Oklahoma State and received a $2,000 signing bonus before the team released him Friday.
