Forward Joshua Tomaic will be an Aztec next Fall as the grad transfer signed with San Diego State.
The 6-foot-10, 235-pound Tomaic can play multiple positions but will likely start at the four for the Aztecs.
Tomaic looks to be an integral part of San Diego State’s offense next season as the Aztecs will lose Mountain West Conference Player-of-the-Year, Malachi Flynn who will enter the NBA draft as well as Yanni Wetzel, KJ Feagin and potentially Matt Mitchell, according to ESPN.
As a Maryland Terrapin, Tomaic appeared in 62 career games averaging a 1-point-per game off 73% shooting, according to Basketball-Reference.
San Diego State had one its best seasons in school history finishing 30-2 before the NCAA (along with all sports) was suspended from the coronavirus epidemic.
