NASCAR has found a new fan in Saints running back Alvin Kamara. Over the weekend, Kamara was an invited guest of NASCAR’s Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway after the organization banned Confederate flags from its racetracks.
According to ESPN, Kamara trains in Miami during the off-season and recently tweeted his support of Bubba Wallace (NASCAR’s only African-American driver) who pushed for policy change and debuted over a Black Lives Matter paint scheme on a No. 43 Chevy this week.
Wallace since George Floyd’s death has been a huge advocate for the Black Lives Matter in NASCAR with his voice and outfits wearing a black, “I can’t breathe shirt,” during a recent race.
