Edge-Rusher Taco Charlton has agreed to a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs Friday. The former first rounder pick has spent three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and last season with the Miami Dolphins.
Charlton has struggled to stay on the field with shoulder and ankle surgeries but the former Michigan Wolverine nine sacks and 11 tackles-for-loss in a primarily backup role when active.
The move just boosts an already (on paper) loaded returning roster for the Super Bowl Champions and if healthy, Charlton can provide depth and stability to a randy Chiefs defensive line.
