The Baltimore Ravens are locking up a major piece of their secondary as the team announced Thursday cornerback Marlon Humphrey agreed to a five-year, $98.75 million dollar extension this morning.
According to ESPN, the 24-year-old is now the highest paid corner in the NFL keeping him with the Ravens through the 2026 season.
The former Alabama Crimson Tide has been Baltimore’s top defensive playmaker over the past three seasons being one of just two NFL players to produce at least 40 passes defended, eight interceptions, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries since entering the league.
General Manager Ozzie Newsome continues to invest in their secondary signing cornerback Tavon Young to a three-year deal, cornerback Marcus Peters to a three-year extension and safety Chuck Clark to a three-year deal too.
