Premier League Set to Return June 17th amid coronavirus epidemic

Good news for soccer fans as the Premier League is set to resume on June 17th with a double header of games, the league announced Thursday.


The league will return with Manchester City vs. Arsenal and Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United, according to BBC.com.


There are 92 matches that will be played with an immense amount of action spanning from 19-21 June.


The league has been suspended indefinitely since March 13th due to the COVID-19 outbreak and just 12 players out of 2,752 tested positive.


Premier League players and staff will continue to be tested twice a week and limit capacities as necessary, according to BBC.com.
