The Pittsburgh Pirates announced president Travis Williams has tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to ESPN, Williams was the only positive COVID-19 test with zero additional positive tests within the organization.
According to the team, “Williams followed the critical health and safety protocols and once he tested positive he immediately isolated himself and followed all CDC guidelines towards recovering quickly.”
The former executive of the Penguins is “on the road to recovery.” and has been the Pirates owner since October of 2019.
