The Philadelphia Eagles woes continue as the team announced tight end Dallas Goedert has a small fracture in his ankle.
According to ESPN, the 25-year-old is now out indefinitely after limping off the field in the first quarter of Sunday’s 23-23 tie with the Cincinnati Bengals following a short completion.
Quarterback Carson Wentz now will be without another one of his key targets in Goedert, hauling in 13 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown through two games thus far.
The Eagles have been decimated with injuries losing DeSean Jackson to a hamstring along with already rookie receiver Jalen Reagor remaining sidelined with a UCL tear in his thumb and veteran Alshon Jeffrey still sidelined with a lisfranc injury too.
The (0-2-1) Eagles take the also equally injured (2-1) 49ers in San Francisco Sunday.
