The process has finally concluded as the Philaldelphia 76ers fired head coach Brett Brown Monday.
According to ESPN, Brown’s dismissal is expected to be a precursor for a 76ers group that will begin exploring changes in the front-office structure as well.
Sources say the franchise’s plan is that general manager Elton Brand will continue to oversee basketball operations.
The feeling is that Philly wants to keep all-stars Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid despite their tumultuous injury history and lack of leadership skills and will be looking to the likes of LA Clippers assistant Ty Lue, Villanova head coach Jay Wright and Spurs Hall-of-Famer Greg Popovich as potential head coaching candidates.
