For the first time since the coronavirus epidemic there will be a sports event that fans can attend.
The PGA’s Memorial Tournament announced Friday it will allow spectators when it is played at Jack Nicklaus’ Muirfield Village Golf Club next month in Ohio.
According to ESPN, the tournament announced via twitter that the PGA received state approval/support for patrons to attend the 45th edition of “The Memorial.”
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine confirmed the decision at his daily news conference Friday.
“The Memorial,” is slated for July 16-19 and is the first Ohio golf tournament to allow fans with three others pending approval.
