The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are the latest Power Five team forced to postpone a game due to the coronavirus.
According to ESPN, seven football players tested positive for COVID-19 forcing a Brian Kelly's squad to forfeit their upcoming game against Wake Forest.
Per ACC Protocols, these players as well as the several that had contact traces are forced to self isolate for 14 days making the reschedule date (during this abridged college football season) highly unlikely.
The University of Baylor was the first team to have to postpone a game due to positive coronavirus tests out of the Power Five conferences but let's hope and pray this isn't a uptick trend moving forward.
