A shocking, twisted and down-right wrong incident happened in NASCAR this weekend as a noose was found in the garage stall of Bubba Wallace at Talladega Superspeedway in Lincoln, Alabama.
This comes just two weeks after Wallace (NASCAR’s only African-American racer) successfully pushed the racing series to ban the Confederate flag as its track and facilities.
According to ESPN, one of Wallace's team members saw it and immediately brought it to the attention of NASCAR.
NASCAR will work with law enforcement to find the culprit of this horrific act. Fellow NASCAR drives, the Alabama Governor, NBA stars and the country shared their shock, disappointment, fear and frustrations towards what happened.
