The NFL announced Thursday they are postponing the Titans-Steelers matchup to a later date following the eight positive coronavirus tests Tuesday.
According to NPR, the game will be moved to either Monday or Tuesday, marking the first game in NFL’s long history to be delayed due to this deadly virus.
The game will still be played in Nashville and Titan head coach Mike Vrabel said the team is doing “everything to make the players safe,” and ensure “this doesn’t happen again.”
The club have not disclosed the names of the players or personnel that tested positive nor do they have too.
The Titans are (3-0) atop the AFC South Division meanwhile the Pittsburgh Steelers are first in their AFC North Division at (3-0) too.
