NFL to get rid of pass interference replay

Chris's Corner

Just one short season after the NFL introduced a pass interference replay the league is now dumping it.

According to Sports Illustrated, The league called the rule a “a total disaster,” said Troy Vincent, the executive vice president of football operations.

Everyone and their mother’s got knowledge about one of the worst blown calls in NFL history when the refs muffed the blatant pass-interference the Rams committed against the Saints in the 2018 NFC Championship game and from there the rule might as well disintegrated.

The implementation of the PI rule wasn’t very successful as just 13 of the 81 pass-interference challenges were successful last season.
