NFL set to release full 17-game schedule in coming weeks

The NFL is set to release its full 17-game schedule this week including the Sept. 7 opener, despite the ongoing coronavirus, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports.

There were many discussions if this COVID-19 intensifies working in conjunction with the NFL Players Association and medical experts on a set of protocols including no bye-weeks, empty stadiums and no international games, according to ESPN.

Currently, the NFL and NFLPA have agreed to keep buildings closed in every state lifts the at-home mandate. Teams and players are having their off-season workouts and minicamps virtually for the time being.
