NFL postpones Bills-Titans and Patriots-Broncos games due to numerous positive coronavirus cases

The NFL postponements continue as the Buffalo Bills road game against the Tennessee Titans has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. ET Tuesday after a COVID-19 outbreak within the Titans’ organization the past two weeks.

According to ESPN, the game was originally scheduled for Sunday during a week 5 matchup of unbeatens but three positive coronavirus tests by Titans forced the team to close their facility and try to contain their league-high 23 COVID-19 tests and counting.

The Bills Week 6 game against the Kansas City Chiefs has been tentatively rescheduled for Sunday, October, 18th but if the Titans have more positive tests the game will be reverted to its original slot on Thursday Night Football on Oct. 15th.

As for the other team struggling with the deadly virus, the Patriots-Broncos matchup has been postponed to Mon. Oct 12th 5pm ET.

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore was among several New England players to test positive for COVID-19 and since they have had these announcements they want to ensure fully that they receive at least one to two negative tests by the team before proceeding with the game and the league found the best way to do that way to postpone the game to Monday mid-afternoon.
