NFL Players have until This Thursday at 4 p.m. to opt out of the 2020 season

The NFL players are on the clock as the league announced Tuesday players have until Thursday at 4 p.m. to opt out of the 2020 season.

According to CBS Sports, 45 players have already opted out of the 2020 season due to coronavirus concerns.

Prior to training camp, the NFL and NFLPA agreed to a plan that allows players the ability to opt out of the coming season and no team has more opt outs than the New England Patriots with 8 total.
