New York Giants trade edge rusher Markus Golden to the Arizona Cardinals for a sixth-round pick

Chris's Corner

Well it looks like Markus Golden is heading back home as the pass rusher was traded to the Arizona Cardinals Friday.

According to ESPN, the 29-year-old Golden will not be returning to the team where he started his career in exchange for a 2021 sixth-round draft heading to the Giants.

Golden was the Cardinals’ second round pick in 2015 out of Missouri and the move makes all the sense in the world for Kliff Kingsbury’s squad.

With superstar rusher Chandler Jones undergoing season-ending surgery, Golden brings pass-rushing abilities to this sack-needy line totaling 19 sacks in four seasons with Zona as well as adding another 11.5 in his two seasons with New York.

The 4-2 Cardinals take on Russell Wilson and the (5-0) Seahawks in Arizona this Sunday Night.
