New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker turned himself into Broward County Jail on Saturday for four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault with a weapon, according to his lawyer, Bradford Cohen.
According to ESPN, Cohen believes his client (Baker) is innocent of all charges. Baker’s partner in this crime Quinton Dunbar is reportedly undecided on if he should turn himself in as he is wanted on four counts of armed robbery with a firearm too.
Baker/Dunbar were issued arrest warrants for stealing watches and cash at a cookout along with threatening one of the guests according to the affidavit and numerous witnesses. The Miramar Police Department says they are treating this case as they would any other similar one.
