New Orleans Saints Safety Malcolm Jenkins continues to advocate change representing the NFL this time by joining CNN as contributor, the network announced Monday.
Jenkins has been instrumental for the league co-founding of the Players’ Coalition and being a prominent activist for social justice and racial inequality.
The 32-year-old has always been prominently involved in social and community work throughout his 12-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints.
This also isn’t his first rodeo when it comes to journalism work as the safety has written for multiple op-eds for the media outlets such as The New York Times, Washington Post, Philadelphia Citizen and CNN.com, according to ESPN.
Jenkins is also the co-founder of Listen Up media and is the executive producer of a feature-length documentary detailing black humanity in America making him fully equipped to shine in this next role.
