New England continues to bolster their backfield by adding veteran running back Lamar Miller on a one-year deal Monday.
According to CBS Sports, the 29-year-old missed all of 2019 with a torn ACL but has reportedly made a full recovery and is coming for vengeance this coming season.
The former fourth round pick out of Miami (FL), had a solid 2018 season rushing for 973 yards and five touchdowns off a 4.6-yard-per-clip for the Houston Texans pre-injury.
The former Hurricanes has shown flashes of being a lead back rushing for 1,000+ yards in 2014 with the Dolphins and 2016 with the Texans but will likely be a change-of-pace back in a crowded Patriots backfield that includes Sony Michel, Rex Burkhead, Damien Harris, James White and J.J. Taylor.
