The National Basketball Coaches Association announced it has created a committee on racial injustice and reform Monday.
This comes after the death of Minneapolis’ George Floyd, the committee, according to The Score was created to pursue solutions on racial injustice/reform in NBA cities.
The committee was created after all 30 NBA head coaches participated in a conference call on the matters last Saturday. The committee includes:
Coach Pop (of the Spurs)
Coach Steve Kerr (of the Warriors)
Coach Doc Rivers (of the Clippers)
Lloyd Pierce (of the Hawks)
Quin Snyder (of the Jazz)
J.B. Bickerstaff (of the Grizzlies)
David Fizdale (former NBA coach)
San Van Gundy (former NBA coach)
