The NBA is continuing to be a major advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement announcing the Players Association are planning to paint a “Black Lives Matter,” on the court inside both sidelines in all three arenas at The Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida.
According to ESPN, the WNBA is also in discussions to paint “Black Lives Matter,” on their courts at IMG Academy in Brandenton, Florida as well.
Players that are planning on participating in the NBA’s resumed restart of the 2019-20 season have insisted on fighting racial inequality and social justice as central pillars in basketball's return to play in both the NBA and WNBA.
