NBA star Kevin Durant is expanding his business empire as he joined the official ranks of sports team owners when he purchased a stake in the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer.
According to ESPN, Durant acquired 5% of the union with an option to purchase an additional 5% at a later date. With the move, KD joins Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Houston Rockets guard James Harden as MLS partial owners with Seattle Sounders and Houston Dynamo, respectively.
