The National Basketball Association (NBA) has postponed their NBA Draft lottery and Draft Combine in Chicago indefinitely per the Athletic.
The draft was originally set for May 19th to determine the draft order of the first 14 picks on the 2020 draft. Chicago was set to be the host city for the NBA Draft combine May 21-24 as well as the official 2020 draft on June 25, according to ESPN.
The NBA has been suspended indefinitely from the coronavirus epidemic or more specially when Jazz center Rudy Gobert contracted the virus on March 11.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski the NBA board of directors will be conducting discussions to solidify definite dates of the draft lottery, combine and draft day.
