Mookie Betts cut the check Wednesday finalizing a 13-year, $380 million dollar deal with the Blue and White.
The former American League MVP was acquired from the Boston Red Sox over the Winter in a blockbuster trade and now will be in LA LA land for likely the remainder of his career.
According to ESPN, Betts is highly considered to be one of the best overall players in Major League Baseball with four Gold Gloves in right field and posting four straight seasons with at least 100 runs, 40 doubles, and 20 home runs which is tied with future Hall-of-Famer Albert Pujols and exceptionally talented Robinson Cano.
As for the Dodgers, they are (once again) highly expected to be in Championship contention during this abridged 60-game season.
