Major League Baseball has already handed down punishment announcing Dodgers pitcher Joe Kelly has been suspended for 8 games Wednesday.
According to ESPN, Kelly was the key instigator in a bench clearing between the Houston cheaters, oh, I mean Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers when he threw a fastball near the head of Alex Bregman and taunted shortstop Carlo Correa for griping about a call.
Kelly was, of course, on the Boston Red Sox when the Astros defeated the Sox during the 2017 season where it was found that Houston was caught using sign and noise signals to cheat.
In addition to Kelly, Dodgers manager David Roberts and ‘Stros manager Dusty Baker were both issued a one-game suspension too.
This is the first series of suspensions in the abridged 60-game 2020 MLB season.
