Major League Baseball isn’t giving up on a 2020 season at least not yet. The league sent a 60-game proposal to the MLB players association Wednesday.
According to ESPN, no deal is done states MLB commissioner Rob Manfred despite significant progress being made.
This is the third proposal the league has sent over to the MLBPA but the two sides haven’t been able to reach a deal just yet.
Whether it's more money for the players, less games for the league, a shorter spring training or an expanded playoff format, until compromises are made there will not be a baseball season in the foreseeable future unfortunately.
