Mizzou to dismiss receiver Maurice Massey from program Friday

Mizzou football was in the news for all the wrong reasons as they dismissed receiver Maurice Massey from the program Monday.

According to the Kansas City Star, the 20-year-old Massey was arrested Sunday by Columbia Police on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault, fourth-degree assault and first-degree property damage.

He was booked and released at 4:25pm on Sunday. The former three-star recruit out of St. Louis opted out ahead of the 2020 season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
