Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill to sit out season until racist state flag is changed

Chris's Corner

Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill is taking a stand against social justice.

The SEC’s returning lead rusher tweeted he will not represent the state anymore until the state flag is changed. His justifiable demand is because Mississippi is the only state flag to feature a Confederate emblem in its design.

According to CBS Sports, Mississippi State Gov. Tate Reeves has been vocal that the people of the state should decide whether the flag should be changed, not its legislators. Reeves also threw out the option of a second flag image but neither have come into fruition.

The 5-foot-11, 215-pound Hill lead the SEC in rushing with 1350 yards and 10 touchdowns, according to Sports-Reference College-Edition.
