The Minnesota Vikings landed a big fish in edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue in a blockbuster trade Sunday.
According to ESPN, the Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to trade their franchise end to the Vikings for a 2021 second-round draft pick and a conditional 2022 fifth-round future draft pick.
Ngakoue has agreed to a one-year, $12 million dollar deal with the Vikings and immediately brings a pass-rushing boost to an already loaded Minnesota D.
The former 25-year-old had eight sacks for the depleted Jags a season ago and has already 37.5 sacks in four seasons so he alongside Danielle Hunter can potentially be a scary duo for Mike Zimmer’s D.
