The great Mike Tyson will tell you to “not call it a comeback,” as of Wednesday he is scheduled to fight Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-round exhibition on September 12th.
According to ESPN, the 54-year-old is a career (50-6) and has posted footage of himself training hinting at a potential comeback and now he will do just that at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
His last fight was 15 years ago fighting Kevin McBride and being taken out just after six short rounds.
His opponent, Roy Jones Jr. has a career (66-9) and at his apex is considered to be one of the top boxers.
Another interesting duo on that bill will be former NBA player Nate Robinson and former YouTube star Jake Paul.
Robinson played 11 seasons with eight different teams in the NBA winning the NBA dunk contest and averaging a career 11-points, 2-boards and three assists where Jake Paul after being a viral star since 2013 is making his live real-time boxing debut this coming September.
