The Spartans had to retreat in a major way announcing that the entire Michigan State football team will quarantine or self-isolate for 14 days after a second-staff member and one athlete tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to ESPN, MSU paused their team workouts Wednesday after a staff member tested positive for the coronavirus but the school wanted to conduct another round of testing before deciding when they will resume their team workouts.
The coronavirus wave hit the school hard as the staff, members, coaches and players had zero positive tests the first two weeks and got a wave of them shortly thereafter.
This may be an increasing trend that we could see other schools follow if numerous individuals contract the virus moving forward.
