Michael Jordan teams up with NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin and Bubba Wallace to form a NASCAR team

Michael Jordan’s wide interests have continued as the best basketball player ever has teamed up with NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin to form a NASCAR team with Bubba Wallace as the driver.

According to ESPN, this is racing’s first black majority team owner and only black driver tandem.

With the announcement, MJ made history becoming the first Black principal owner of a full time Cup team since Hall of Famer Wendell Scott drove his own race car from 1961-’73.

As for Wallace, the 27-year old is the only black driver in the Cup Series and used his platform to make a social difference urging NASCAR to ban the display of the Confederate flags at its events.

It will certainly be interesting to see this triple threat in future NASCAR Cup events.
