It looks like it’s Tua Time in South Beach as Tua Tagovailoa was named the starting quarterback moving forward this season.
According to ESPN, the rookie will make his first NFL debut week eight against Aaron Donald the 5-1 Los Angeles Rams.
Tagovailoa first NFL start will come 351 days after he suffered a dislocated right hip and wall fracture while at Alabama.
It’s somewhat of a head scratcher given the “rebuilding,” Dolphins are sitting at 3-3 nearly halfway through the season and veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick has been playing well through six games throwing for 1,535 passing yards with 10 touchdowns and the seventh best quarterback rating in the league at 79.6.
Los Angeles has one of the best defenses in the league so this will certainly be a big test for the rookie but Tua looks thus far to be up for the challenge.
